18-year-old males most likely to commit crime

Figures released by Australian Bureau of Statistics yesterday show that 18-year-old males are more likely to commit a crime than people of any other age or gender, and the proportion of 18-year olds committing a crime is increasing slightly each year. Police took action against one-in-ten 18-year-old males in the year to July 2011.
