ACYS inquiries and help

NB This is not a crisis help service.
For help in a crisis, contact Kids Help Line: ph: 1800 55 1800 (Australia-wide) or
Lifeline: ph: 13 1114, or try one of the many online help lines.

ACYS staff can help with information inquiries that relate to youth studies, youth work or youth research. Recommended: Look through our topics guide first: it helps you to locate information on specific youth issues. If you cannot find what you need there, use the inquiry form below.

Notes about inquiries sent to ACYS:

  • Due to the volume of requests, we can only offer limited help assignments by suggesting where to go for further information.
  • Tertiary students, please first consult your university library reference section before approaching us for specialist help.
  • ACYS is not a library. We cannot lend resources to you nor can we post information documents out to you.
  • We try to respond to requests within 48 hours, but it may take longer due to weekends and staff availability.
  • If you need to direct your inquiry to a particular section of ACYS, see the who's who at ACYS page.
